CLCC is a network of organic churches, we consist of churches gathering in homes, restaurants or other meeting places across Metro Detroit area. Unlike a traditional church, CLCC churches are by nature for those that may have one or more of the following:
- Never been to church but want to learn about God in an environment they are comfortable.
- Stopped going to church for whatever reason but are feeling or thinking of going back.
- Want to start going to church but not interested in the so called “religious politics.”
- Rather meet with only a few people or maybe just some friends or family in the beginning.
- Knows very little about the Bible and what Jesus is all about but is willing to know more.
- Want to learn about God but not interested in religion.
- Mature Christian looking for a lot more than just “playing church.”
- Christians looking to invest in lives not in structures.
Church is not a building, nor day of the week but like Jesus said “…where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” Doesn’t matter where, Jesus cares enough to be there.
Charisma Life got its start in Canton Michigan so for the time being there’s a greater number of churches meeting in this area, but there are always churches in the making that will soon become an official part of CLCC. Pastor Shane has a heart to see new churches be planted and is willing to help those that have a desire to host, help or start one. There is always something happening in the background where people are need to make things happen. Perhaps there’s one in your area — or maybe you’ll be the next person God leads to start one.
